At Hoffman Haus Pet Resort, our full-service Grooming Team is here to help keep your dog looking, feeling, and smelling their best. Whether your pup needs a full haircut, a refreshing bath, or simply a quick nail trim, our grooming team is happy to provide the care they need.

We use high-quality, all-natural shampoos and conditioners selected with your dog’s skin and coat in mind. Our goal is to provide a thorough, comfortable grooming experience while helping your pet maintain a healthy, clean, and beautiful coat.

Grooming Is Part of the Hoffman Haus Experience

We are first and foremost a dog boarding, daycare, and training facility that also offers full-service grooming. While we offer standalone grooming appointments, grooming is a natural extension of the care we provide to dogs already staying with us. We are not a traditional grooming salon and do not operate on hourly appointment intervals or a walk-in style schedule.

Grooming can be added to your dog’s boarding, daycare, or training reservation, and we also welcome dogs who are coming to us for grooming only.

Adding Grooming to Your Reservation

If you would like your dog to receive a haircut while they are boarding, attending daycare, or participating in training, please request it in advance. Our haircut schedule can fill up quickly, and we cannot guarantee a haircut will be available if it is requested at the last minute.

If our haircut schedule is full, we can often still accommodate a bath on your dog’s exit date. Baths are generally easier for us to fit into our schedule than haircuts.

Please keep in mind that we care for a large number of dogs and may have many baths scheduled on any given day. If your dog is receiving a bath before going home, the earliest checkout time is 9:30 AM. If you are able to be flexible on pickup time, you may be labeled as a “Call When Done."

Standalone Grooming Appointments

Your dog does not need to be boarding or attending daycare to visit our grooming team! We also offer standalone grooming appointments (Not offered on Sundays) for dogs who are simply coming in for a day at the spa.

All outside grooming appointments have a 9:00 AM drop-off. This gives you the opportunity to speak directly with your groomer that morning, go over grooming instructions, discuss your dog’s needs, and communicate any special requests or concerns. If you do not need to speak directly to your groomer (you are an existing client getting the same routine haircut, or you have written instructions with photo examples) then you are welcome to drop off between 7:00-9:00 AM (during the week, Saturdays is ONLY 9:00 AM).

If you need your dog ready for pickup by a specific time, please discuss this with your groomer at drop-off. Your groomer can let you know whether that timeframe is possible based on the day’s schedule.

If you do not need a specific pickup time, your dog will be scheduled as “Call When Done.”

What Does “Call When Done” Mean?

“Call When Done” means your dog will be worked into our grooming schedule throughout the day rather than being assigned a specific grooming time. Once your pup is finished and ready to go, we will notify you by text or phone call.

From there, you can pick them up anytime between receiving your notification and our closing time (Monday-Friday 6pm, Saturday 1pm).

Have errands to run? Making a day of it? No problem! Your dog is welcome to hang out with us after their grooming appointment until you are ready to pick them up.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

• Haircuts: Please request them in advance, especially when adding grooming to a boarding, daycare, or training reservation.

• Baths: We can often accommodate a bath on your dog’s exit date even when our haircut schedule is full.

• Bath checkout: The earliest checkout time for dogs receiving a bath is 9:30 AM.

• Standalone grooming: Outside grooming appointments have a 8:30-9:00 AM drop-off if you wish to speak with your groomer. If you do not need to speak directly to the groomer, you are welcome to drop off between 7:00-9:00 AM.

• Specific pickup times: Discuss your requested pickup time with your groomer at morning drop-off.

• Call When Done: If you do not have a specific pickup time, we will contact you when your dog is finished. They are welcome to stay and hang out with us until you are ready to pick them up, anytime before closing.

Our groomers are attentive and dedicated to providing exceptional care. We understand that every dog has their own personality and comfort level, so we take a gentle, patient approach throughout the grooming process. From the moment your dog arrives at the facility until they are ready to head home, their comfort and well-being are our priority.
