Our History
Founded in 1988, Hoffman Haus Pet Resort has deep roots in a long-standing dog-breeding and canine-care tradition. Our name carries a special connection to our beginnings and the history of the family behind the business.
The name “Hoffman Haus” was inspired by the founder’s tradition of placing “von der Hoffman Haus” at the end of their dogs’ pedigrees. In German, this translates roughly to “of the Hoffman House.” This tradition became the inspiration for our original name, Hoffman Haus Kennels, when we first opened our doors.
Over the years, Hoffman Haus has grown and evolved far beyond traditional kenneling. As we expanded our services to include boarding, daycare, grooming, training, and additional amenities, we adopted the name Hoffman Haus Pet Resort to better reflect everything we have to offer.
While our name and services have evolved, our commitment to exceptional pet care has remained at the heart of what we do. For more than three decades, we have been proud to care for generations of pets and serve the families in our community.
Today, Hoffman Haus Pet Resort continues to build on the foundation established in 1988. We are honored to carry our history forward while continuing to grow, improve, and provide the highest level of care possible.
From Hoffman Haus Kennels to Hoffman Haus Pet Resort, our name may have changed, but our dedication to the pets and families we serve has remained the same.
Meet The
Randolph Family
We are Jim & Ann Randolph, and this is our family.
In September 2021, we finalized the purchase of Hoffman Haus Pet Resort and proudly became the new operating owners. Taking on a business with such a long history in our community is both an honor and a responsibility, and we are excited to continue building on the foundation that has been established here.
Together, we bring more than 30 years of combined experience working with animals. Our backgrounds include pet boarding, obedience training, and personal protection training. As lifelong animal lovers ourselves, we understand how important it is to find people you can trust with your pets. We treat every dog and cat in our care as an individual and strive to make their time with us safe, comfortable, enjoyable, and enriching.
Since taking over Hoffman Haus, our goal has been to continue providing the quality care our clients have come to expect while bringing our own experience, ideas, and passion to the resort. We are committed to creating a place where pets are genuinely cared for and their families can have peace of mind while they are away.
